POMCO strives to promote the most effective medical care at the lowest possible cost. We provide inpatient pre-certification, second surgical review, medical procedure pre-determination and medical necessity review programs, as well as many others.

Our Medical Services Department is one of the few in the country to receive and maintain national accreditation from URAC, a national health care accrediting organization that establishes quality standards for the health care industry. POMCO has been URAC accredited for its utilization review practices for the past 11 consecutive years.
