Claim Filing and Appeals

Claims must be submitted to POMCO prior to plan filing deadlines. These time frames vary by plan, but generally allow for submission within 90 days following the end of the calendar year the service is rendered. When POMCO is the secondary payer, claim submission must be within the plan filing deadline and must include the primary payer's explanation of benefits/denial.
